El Bulli’s Grand Finale

Considered to be one of the best restaurants in the world, El Bulli, is officially closing its doors this month. Here’s a glimpse inside the restaurant laboratory in its final daze. It’s too bad we won’t get to experience Ferran Andria’s creativity and gastravagence in the Catalonia Bay in Spain. Having an opportunity to eat here was equivelant to visiting Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Only 8,000 guests get to eat here, out of 2 million requests for reservation this year. Hopefully, he’ll open another laboratory.

Click on links above for more info/history about the restaurant and Ferran Andria.

Stone Brewery Company’s facility plant is one of the best destinations the greater San Diego area can offer. The facility is beautiful inside and out. You can easily kill a whole day here by:

  1. Eating/drunking awesome high quality beer/food at the bar/restaurant. Finally got to try Russian River’s Pliny the Elder. AWESOME CHIT!! Beer Advocate it.
  2. Getting a free tour that includes beer samping from the Beer Jesus
  3. Having beer outside at the amazing park
  4. Drinking more great beer at the bar
  5. repeat step 3/4 three times.

This was our second time here and first time taking a tour. It was dope! Phil the self proclaimed Beer Jesus (seen above) schooled us on the history of Stone Brewing and the history of Craft Brewing. Really funny dude who knew his chit. I thought about quitting my job during the tour so I can move down and be his beer disciple. Srsly…

Beer babies.
